Our PMO Midlands team is looking to expand its Controls community. We are a close-knit team and we’re looking to welcome passionate and ambitious candidates across all our professional, senior professional and managerial grades who will support our early careers, grow into leadership roles and bring their skills and expertise to our communities of practice.
With exciting growth in region including new Major Programmes, Projects and Clients, we’re looking for flexible and mobile Planning and Scheduling / Performance Reporting / Risk Management candidates to deliver services in our local region. Travel within the Midlands is required, dependent on the project and can be discussed further during the recruitment process.
Working alongside project delivery teams as part of a wider reporting & performance management team or independently, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Tailoring reporting processes to meet the client’s needs and aligning with best practice.
2. Delivering performance and reporting management plans based on project requirements and maturity.
3. Promoting the benefits and requirements of Performance Reporting & Analytics within the project and programme team.
4. Implementing and maintaining reporting systems and procedures to track project controls performance.
5. Working with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
6. Rolling out reporting calendars to ensure a consistent flow of performance data.
7. Defining requirements and data flows for information management systems.
8. Leading the development and maintenance of corporate datasets.
9. Providing guidance on data quality issues.
10. Leading material preparation for governance through projects and programmes.
11. Identifying performance recovery recommendations for stakeholders.
12. Supporting the project team in developing and embedding KPIs.
13. Developing project performance reports and dashboards.
14. Leading preparation of presentations for client governance forums.
15. Contributing to national and regional performance & reporting communities.
16. Training and coaching clients and less experienced team members.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience in a project or programme environment is essential.
2. Understanding of how other aspects of Project Controls interact with Reporting.
3. Demonstrable track record in identifying reporting and data requirements.
4. Awareness of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys etc.) is desirable.
5. Experience in using data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI).
6. Understanding of data architecture and data models.
