We are seeking to appoint a dynamic SENCO who is passionate about ensuring high achievement for all and who is able to influence SEND practice. They will have a passion for the development of SEND throughout the school and be responsible for raising attainment. They will be committed to ensuring that the pupils with SEND are making sustainable progress and work directly with our staff to develop strong learning programmes to work towards individual targets. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a SENCo role, however we may be willing to support a candidate who wishes to undergo the training to gain the NASENCo award. You will be an excellent communicator, have a passionate, creative and nurturing outlook, be committed to a therapeutic approach to behaviour and inclusion. This role is part-time (0.4, 2 days per week) and does not include a class teaching responsibility.
