Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver
Humdinger - Bromborough
We're recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join our team based at our nut processing site in Bromborough. This role offers £13.35 per hour.
Shifts follow a three-rotation pattern as below:
Week 1: 6 am - 2pm
Week 2: 2 pm - 10pm
Week 3: 10pm - 6am
* Picking pallets necessary for the production process using a reach truck and ensuring they go to the correct place.
* Placing pallets into the racking using a reach truck.
* Use HHT (Hand Held Terminal) Scanners to track all pallet movements as and when you move them.
* Ensure we maintain a clean & tidy workplace for the safety of all colleagues.
* Follow best practices (you will be trained in), to ensure we minimise risks of accidents & incidents.
* Loading and unloading trailers using PPT (Powered Pallet Truck).
* Warehouse/Forklift experience (essential)
* Forklift license - reach truck (essential) and counterbalance is Desirable
* An understanding of basic warehousing processes.
* A team player with a positive attitude.
* A strong work ethic and drive to achieve.
* Ideally have experience of using a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) but training will be given if required to use ”.
* Solid record of attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures.
* Administration and clerical skills and PC literate including being able to work computer system to produce pick lists (training will be given ).
* G ood written and communications skills.
* Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance, regulatory requirements, housekeeping and health and safety.
* A good understanding of Stock Management
