Reed/LTA are looking for an experienced School Office Administrator (Grade 6) to join a primary school based in Preston on a job share basis, working Thursdays and Fridays. The ideal candidate will have experience with SIMS (School Information Management System) and ParentPay systems. This long-term role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, who will play a crucial part in the smooth running of the school office.
* Working Hours: Thursday and Friday, 8:30 am - 4:15 pm
Day to Day of the role:
* Manage the reception area, acting as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors.
* Utilise SIMS for student records management, attendance tracking, and reporting.
* Handle financial transactions using ParentPay, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Assist with the organisation of school events and communications with parents.
* Maintain office supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
* Support the administrative needs of the school staff and leadership team.
* Ensure the office environment is organised, professional, and welcoming.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in an administrative role within a school environment.
* Proficiency in using SIMS and ParentPay systems.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
