Job Summary
AnOutstandingPrimary School in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and compassionateSpecial Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistantto join their supportive team on a full-time, fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will work closely with a student on a one-to-one basis, as well as support the class teacher in fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Provide one-to-one support for a pupil with additional learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, or other developmental challenges.
* Work alongside the class teacher to adapt learning materials and activities to meet the pupil’s specific needs.
* Support the pupil’s social integration and engagement with peers during group activities.
* Observe and track the pupil’s progress, providing regular feedback to the class teacher, SENCO, and parents.
* Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of students by adhering to the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
* Experience working with children with SEN in a school or childcare setting.
* Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning difficulties.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport with children.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Desirable:
* Relevant qualifications in education or child development (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma).
* Knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
* Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or Primary School curriculum.
