About the role:
We currently have a vacancy for a Technical Sales Person, reporting directly to the Sales Manager and Managing Director.
This is a multi-faceted role; you will be responsible for the sale of the Arrow range of products, providing technical and sales support to Distributors and end users, and performing any other duties as required.
You will be expected to acquire and maintain complete knowledge concerning the Company’s range of products and services, applying this knowledge in relation to customers’ requirements and enquiries.
To keep up to date with changes in technology and development within our industry, which contributes to the company’s success.
There are opportunities for travel throughout the UK and globally, attending exhibitions, race events, and client visits.
Responsibilities:
* The preparation of technical quotations and provision of technical advice to our customers via telephone or email.
* The provision of technical support to all Distributors and end users.
* Effectively liaising with our manufacturing and warehouse staff regarding lead time and delivery arrangements.
* Contributing towards and maintaining the company’s website and social media accounts.
* Working to ISO 9001:2015 Quality and Management Systems and promoting Continuous Improvements.
* Carrying out research to maintain your understanding of:
o Competitor activity
o Levels of customer business activity
o Knowledge of the Arrow and competitor products
* Aspects of the job may involve duties outside of normal hours of work, which is considered part of your contract.
What we are looking for:
* A passionate individual with an interest in Engineering and Motorsport.
* Previous experience in technical sales within a mechanical engineering environment, preferably Automotive or Motorsport.
* GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.

* A willingness to learn new skills and share ideas and knowledge.
* A positive, proactive, and professional approach.
* Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with colleagues.
* Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and a consistent approach.
* Ability and willingness to work to targets and deadlines.
* Flexibility to work outside of normal contracted hours when required.
