Job Responsibilities
Take overall responsibility for the tandoori section, ensuring smooth operations.
Prepare and marinate meat and prawn for tandoori cooking.
Operate and maintain the tandoor oven, ensuring dishes are cooked to perfection.
Cook a variety of tandoori dishes, such as mix grill, chicken tikka, and naan breads.
Follow recipes while preparing meals based on customer preferences and special requests.
Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health standards are strictly followed in the kitchen.
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients used for tandoori dishes.
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure timely service and consistent food quality.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Tandoori Chef.
Expertise in tandoori cooking including breads.
Knowledge of operating and maintaining the tandoor oven.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
