Your New Company
One of the South's leading material handling and storage system companies is looking for a Warranty and Service Administrator to take ownership and responsibility for processing all warranty claims. This role includes following up estimates to customers and arranging follow-up work from Thorough Examination inspections, providing backup and support to our Customer Support Desk, and carrying out other ad hoc administration duties as required, which will include some job invoicing.
Main Duties of the Warranty and Service Administrator
1. Accurate and timely completion for submitting claims to manufacturers
2. Investigate rejected claims, recharge or invoice at our cost
3. Query unsettled or short paid claims
4. Process warranty jobs to completion on our systems
5. Liaise with our field-based and workshop engineers to give guidance on warranty work
6. Identify parts for return or disposal, record and control
7. Arrange jobs for manufacturer campaigns and follow up
8. Have a good understanding of various manufacturers' warranty policies
9. Monitor profitability
10. Other admin duties in line with the needs of the business
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm with an hour for lunch.
Required Skills
1. Experience within a warranty administrator role/service-type administration
2. Good commercial awareness and understanding
3. Excellent written and communication skills
4. Good skills in Microsoft Excel & Outlook
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
6. Ability to problem solve
7. Decision making
Must be able to work as part of a team, be professional and self-motivated. Enthusiastic and willing to learn. In-house training will be given to the right candidate.
