As a Fleet Prospecting Executive at Motia you will be central to our sales strategy and business growth. Reporting directly to the Fleet Services Team Leader, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about telematics and vehicle tracking solutions.
This office-based sales position requires a proactive, results-driven approach, where you'll focus on outbound sales activities, including lead generation, business prospecting, and executing acquisition campaigns aimed at growing our customer base. Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive New Business: Proactively engage in cold calling to identify and connect with key decision-makers, building new business opportunities for our telematics and vehicle tracking solutions.
2. Create Lasting Impressions: Craft compelling first interactions with prospects, effectively assessing their needs and pain points to position the right solutions that meet their requirements.
3. Nurture Relationships: Follow up with prospects and leads to ensure we stay top of mind and build trust through consistent and insightful communication.
4. Maximise Sales Opportunities: Manage and qualify appointments for Fleet Consultants and other senior sales staff to drive sales growth and close new business.
5. Keep the Pipeline Flowing: Maintain an active pipeline by ensuring all sales activities are tracked in CRM systems and that qualified leads are consistently fed into the sales funnel.
6. Market Knowledge: Stay ahead of the competition by keeping an eye on industry trends and competitor activities, ensuring we remain the top choice for vehicle tracking solutions.
7. Hit and Exceed Targets: Drive towards meeting and exceeding KPIs, maximising sales revenue and performance across all areas, from telematics to connectivity and fuel solutions.
8. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Senior Sales Staff to ensure smooth handovers of qualified leads and contribute to the overall success of the team.
9. Prepare Proposals: Compose relevant and compelling proposals tailored to the needs of potential SME customers.
10. Other Duties as Assigned: Be flexible and take on other tasks as required to support the broader sales strategy.
Requirements:
1. Willingness to Learn & Drive to Succeed: While previous telesales or sales experience is beneficial, it’s not a requirement. We’re looking for someone with a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the motivation to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
