We are excited to partner with a thriving manufacturing company located near Hull who are looking for a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team on a maternity cover contract. This is an excellent role for someone who is immediately available and ready for a January start.
About the role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
* Statement reconciliations
* Process intercompany recharges and invoices
* Raising sales invoices
* Ensure creditors ledger is tidy each month end and fully allocated
* Be able to cover running the weekly maintenance report
* Assist during month end and process journals
* Process expenses claims
* Cashbook postings
* Provide cover for sales ledger and supplier payment runs when needed
About you
The successful Accounts Assistant will have the following attributes:
* AAT Level 4 qualified or working towards the qualification
* Good level of IT and computer systems literacy
* Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
