This new role will offer the right person the opportunity to shape the communications and brand voice of City of Portsmouth College - ultimately increasing recruitment, celebrating our amazing students and transforming lives. Key Responsibilities: Generate creative ideas, plan and produce creative content and concepts that grow business, meet objectives and win awards. To develop and deliver a digital content strategy to span web, social, email and paid-for advertising to key external audiences. Responsible for overseeing all digital content new and existing in order to improve search rankings, website bounce, exit rates and to increase website conversions to applications. Create and produce high-performing paid-for digital content that is hosted across various digital adverting platforms including Google search, YouTube, Meta platforms, audio streaming and more. Management of cross-campus PR and related internal and external PR events to drive recruitment, awareness, and gain outstanding media coverage. Build and maintain relationships with key media across Portsmouth and beyond. To manage crisis PR and coordinate college communications with confidence and professionalism. Be an expert in digital analytics to record and evaluate PR and/or digital campaign success. Continuously implement changes to improve results. Deliver stand out, on brand copy tailored to specific audiences with a high stand of accuracy and attention to detail. To proofread, edit and develop content produced by colleagues. Support and prepare award nomination documentation for both students and staff.
