Part Time Role 18.5 Hours (salary pro rata)
We are excited for the right person to join Northamptonshire Children’s Service as part of our Legal Case Progression Team. You will work 2 days a week alongside the part time post holder and together be responsible for driving forward case progress where legal intervention may be required. In order to achieve this, you must be an experienced qualified social worker with an expert knowledge in childcare legislation, court work and be able to quality assure work to a high standard.
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Barred List check.
What will you be doing?
You will have responsibility for maintaining our legal trackers and offer support, guidance, and constructive challenge across the Trust. You will also work collaboratively with the judiciary and other stakeholders to continue our work in improving the quality and timeliness of legal proceedings.
