Groundworker (Multi Trade) Bedford From £30,000 per annum Permanent Full time (40 hours per week) We currently have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join bpha’s In House Maintenance Service, who make a difference to our customer’s lives everyday by delivering a high-quality repairs service designed around them. We operate across Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, and we utilise the latest technology to ensure that we not only deliver a great experience for our customers, but for our colleagues as well. We are looking for a Groundworker (multi-trade) operative to join our In House Maintenance Service Team, and to be responsible for the delivery and completion of repairs within and around our customers’ homes. As a Ground working multi discipline trade operative, you will have trade skills to cover multiple repair tasks to a high standard and quality. The tasks undertaken by this role will vary from day to day, and will include all aspects of groundworks such as drainage installation (ACO/French/soakaways) Concreting, bricklaying, pointing, paving, slabbing, gullies, manholes, groundworks, tarmacking and fencing. You will be accountable for: Delivering a service which understands the needs of our customers and delivers a positive outcome for them. Ensuring that all company owned property is properly maintained, cared for, respected, and always remains fit for purpose. Maximising your first-time fix rate and daily productivity level, delivering a high standard of workmanship, quality, and customer experience. You will ensure that van stocks are maintained, and source other materials required in a timely fashion to meet the service needs& performance targets. Liaising and communicating with managers, supervisors, schedulers, other colleagues, and customers whilst undertaking your duties to ensure we deliver on our promises and provide our customers with a first-class repairs service.
