Description
1. Develop, implement and oversee health and safety procedures in line with company policy and legal requirements.
2. Coordinate with the Engineering & Manufacturing department to ensure safety standards are met.
3. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
4. Provide training and guidance on health and safety matters to staff members.
5. Investigate incidents, accidents, and non-conformities, providing recommendations for prevention.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
7. Prepare and present regular health and safety reports to management.
8. Promote a positive health and safety culture within the organisation.
Profile
A successful Health and Safety Manager should have:
1. Relevant qualifications in Health and Safety management.
2. A background in the FMCG industry, particularly within an Engineering & Manufacturing context.
3. Proven experience developing and implementing health and safety procedures.
4. Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
5. Strong communication and leadership skills.
