About the role
Title: Retail Security Officer
Pay Rate: £12.15
Location: Widnes
Shift Timings: 4 on 4 off, 38.5 hours a week, must be available to work weekends.
You will be working in a well-known retail store, covering the main door, meeting and greeting customers, offering support, conducting regular patrols, and responding to alarms. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors. We are looking for candidates who are confident, outgoing, and have good energy, as well as being the type of officer that wants to help people and be a part of a team.

Your main responsibilities may include:
1. Patrolling the retail store premises.
2. Investigating disturbances and monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
3. Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
4. Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
1. SIA License.
2. 5-year checkable work/career history.
3. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
4. Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
5. Possess the ability to work under pressure.
