Job Summary
To assist with the management of the ward on a day-to-day basis by supporting and acting on behalf of the ward manager.
To be aware and demonstrate practice based on current advances in nursing.
Work in conjunction with other disciplines in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
To promote evidence-based practice and act as an accountable role model and clinical expertise.
Main Duties of the Job
We are currently seeking to recruit highly motivated Registered Nurses to work within Trefynwy ward, Monnow Vale Hospital. The ward is a 19 bedded GP-led unit providing a range of care from rehabilitation, palliation, and care of the elderly.
We pride ourselves in providing excellent, quality care to our patients. We are a welcoming, supportive, and friendly group of professionals who strive to provide a friendly caring environment for both patients and staff.
We care for our patients 7 days a week, 24 hours a day so you will need to have a flexible approach to take part in a full shift system including nights and weekend working, in some areas on a 12-hour shift system or on a three-shift system.
