About The Role
The Sir John Brunner Foundation are recruiting a Director of Finance.
Reporting to the Chief Financial and Operations Officer, the post holder will be responsible for driving continual improvement and enhancing all financial management and infrastructure within the Foundation and its academies, by leading and directing finance teams, assuring compliance with relevant regulations and contributing to the long-term financial planning that supports the organisational strategy.
The role will lead and drive with energy and enthusiasm, a finance service that ensures the Foundation is able to deliver its vision that every child’s life will be enhanced and advanced through the highest standards of education.
Salary: Grade 13 (£61,854 - £67,596 per annum)
37 hours per week, full year.
Your Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For
* A relevant degree and other related professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/AAT)
* Experience of relevant and sustained CPD
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and reporting standards
* A proven track record of successfully leading Finance functions, preferably within education or non-profit settings
* A credible leader who works collaboratively with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop colleagues and support a high-performance organisational culture
