The Training co-ordinator is responsible for the delivery of best-practice processes and procedures to ensure skills and competence of Project resources are identified, collated, reviewed and recorded in line with regulatory and corporate requirements ensuring highly skilled competent and skilled workforce. These outputs ensure that the workforce is competent, compliant, and continuously developing to meet the demands of a highly-regulated nuclear construction project Main Responsibilities Develop Skills and Competency framework and matrices to ensure all Project resources are suitably qualified and competent to deliver roles within a highly-regulated Nuclear Construction project in line with NSAN requirements Design and implement Training & Competence plans and procedures to ensure ongoing development of skills and competence across the workforce, throughout the Project lifetime. Liaise with Project teams, Quality and key stakeholders to ensure benchmark Training and Skills requirements are achieved for the workforce and any Training and Skills gaps are identified for development within the contractual and regulatory requirements. Ensure all role information and SQEP records are maintained and up to date, in line with the organisation chart and project changes. Work across the BUK organisation to identify opportunities to develop best-practice Training, Competency and Skills assessment, development and delivery is achieved to meet the regulatory and corporate requirements. Ensuring all Training and Skills development requirements are fulfilled through registered and accredited Suppliers Working with the Project team to maintain all role information is accurate and aligned to the contractual and regulatory requirements. Liaise with the WIMS Co-ordinator on any new starters who require training plans to achieve the NNB Competency check.
