ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a creative and strategicSocial & Content ExecutiveHorticultureto join ourDigital Marketing team. In this role, you willbe responsible forcreatingengaging, on-brand gardening & lifestyle contentthatdrives growth across our social platforms and website. Reporting to theHead of Brand,youwill be working with the Creative teamtoensure thatall our content experiencesdelight, inform andpersuadecustomersthat Sarah Raven is a brandthatsright for them.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content production-Create and producehigh-quality, engaging, and shareable garden focussed contentsocial channelsand webStorytelling & ideationProduce ideas fordigitalcontent that are aligned to the contentmarketingcalendar.Youllmatchseasonal product, gardening adviceandbrand USPsto the customer mindset.Content calendar planningMaintainand ownthe content and campaign marketing calendar, working closely with Head of BrandCopywriting-Providecompelling copyforsocial and web channelsBe a voice of the brandcomment and engage with customers and audiences on social channelsCollaborationwork closely with graphic designers to produce engaging contentthatson brand and suitable forsocial platforms; and with buying to find the best product andgreat storiesShoot production-Organise,coordinateand producesocial contentshoots forBe on set-Attend and manage on-set shoot production on photo & video shoots whenrequiredMake use of data and insightsLearn fromcontent performance, analyse key metrics,listen to customerfeedbackandoptimizecontent strategies based on insightsSpotting trendsstay up to date withdigital and social media trends across gardening and relevant adjacent lifestyle categoriesto ensure ourourgardening contentremainsfresh, relevant, and innovativeHorti and brand championEnsure ourhortimessaging ison brand andaccurate,youllwork closely with our garden andhortibuying teams.KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Gardening knowledgeproven experience thatyouknow alot aboutgardening, andfeel confident talking about garden jobs and plants. RHS qualification(or equivalent)is ideal, but not essentialExperiencedcontentcreatorprovenexperience of creating digital content (copy, visual and video formats)Content campaign planningyou will know howgenerate ideas for campaigns, andorganise theminto a structured campaign or BAU content calendarDigital content measurement-youllknow the metrics to follow and how to apply the insightsBrilliantstorytelling skillsability to think imaginatively and practically to create compelling content that attracts attention.Creative teamplayeryou know the importance of abriefand ready to share and receive feedbackSocial + digital first-Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and emerging trends.Highly organizedcan manage various timelines and knows how to manage competing prioritiesAmbitious and creativealways looking for new ways of doing things to improve efficiency and quality of production processes and content outputAn advocate for gardening and natureWHY JOIN US?
