The successful Senior Project Manager will work closely with the project teams throughout delivery and will:
* Act as the first point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders.
* Work as part of the project management team assisting with various project applications.
* Track projects accurately and in detail on the project management platform.
* Ensure all aspects of the work carried out meet contractual requirements and that the contract is delivered on time, within budget, and of excellent quality.
* Attend meetings at site and/or external offices.
* Book and organize meetings, writing minutes for meetings attended with summarized action points.
* Prepare documentation and relevant updates for pre-meeting preparation.
* Monitor project progress and bring to the Project Director's attention any issues that arise in a timely manner.
* Proactively produce regular progress reports as required.
* Liaise and communicate professionally verbally and in writing with suppliers, customers, and subcontractors.
* Oversee and track project management with minimum supervision.
* Practice the Company’s project management and quality control procedures.
* Build strong relationships with clients.
REQUIREMENTS
About the requirements:
* Completed or about to complete a suitable qualification (degree and/or professional qualification to the suited Chartered Body).
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and document preparation skills.
* Responsible for own high-quality output and understanding of how his/her outputs contribute to the programme and/or project.
* Strong interpersonal qualities demonstrable through daily actions and engagement with individuals.
