What you’ll do: Undertake environment related corporate governance monitoring for the business units and Robertson Group, e.g. this incudes carrying out visits to Construction and FM projects; Contribute to developing and maintaining the environmental management system; Support business units in relation to environmental technical queries and initiatives; Provide advice and guidance to personnel in relation to SHE matters; Participate in environmental investigations; Help identify, develop, and as appropriate deliver, environment training programmes and courses. Conduct site governance inspections and audits in line with agreed programmes. Produce written reports in relation to governance inspections, audits and investigations in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols; Provide support and advice to project teams, business units and to other business functions (e.g. Sustainability and Quality) on environmental risks including regulatory matters. Deliver in-house environmental training courses; Contribute to reviewing and improving the environmental management system; Attend and participate at SHE Department meetings; Attend and participate at Robertson Group business units’ SHE meetings, as required; Liaise with other SHE professionals within the business to further SHE performance. Any other relevant duties your line manager may from time to time require you to undertake. What you’ll need: Previous experience in the construction industry working and covering multi-sites. 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Previous experience of environmental system auditing. Degree in an environmental discipline (or equivalent qualifications / training). Membership of an appropriate professional body at an appropriate level, commensurate with experience and qualifications and participation in an ongoing CPD programme.
