What's involved with this role: Interim Below Threshold Pilot Project Coordinator Reference no: Stoke on Trent 5266651 Pay Rate: £400.00 per day PAYE 35 Monday – Friday, normal working hours This opening assignment is for 6 months City: Stoke on Trent As the lead for a six-month Home Office pilot, you will coordinate a multi-agency approach to managing referrals that fall below the Prevent threshold but present a potential risk of serious or mass violence. Drawing on your expertise in Prevent and safeguarding, and serious violence, you will engage confidently with local partners to deliver a joined-up, risk-informed response and test the viability of this new intervention model. Key duties: Ensure records are kept to assess impact of the pilot Establish a referral and assurance process to signpost to alternative support services Setup a Below Threshold Pilot Panel establish Terms of Reference, Membership, Minute Taking, Training Support the development of case studies Bring relevant partners together to establish current approaches to addressing risk of violence Key requirements: Knowledge of early intervention, prevention, and the challenges facing those with complex needs below statutory thresholds Knowledge and gravitas to engage with local partners Experience in coordinating or managing community, health, housing, or support-based projects Significant experience of serious violence, Prevent and safeguarding Strong partnership and stakeholder engagement skills across multiple sectors Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Desirable: Relevant safeguarding certifications (e.g. Level 3 or above in Safeguarding Adults/Children) Project or programme management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent) – particularly useful for overseeing pilot delivery Please quote the Job Title & Vacancy Reference No. in your application, or we will be unable to match your CV to the role being applied for.
