The Role As our Community Fundraising & Events Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our fundraising efforts. Your role will involve developing, managing, and promoting a variety of fundraising events and campaigns – from smaller, intimate gatherings to large-scale mass participation events, including our renowned Christmas Concert. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement fundraising events and campaigns, ensuring they align with Brendoncare’s values and mission. Manage and promote a variety of events, from smaller community activities to large charity challenges and mass participation events. Engage and build relationships with supporters, donors, and volunteers to drive participation and enthusiasm. Collaborate with the wider team to create engaging event materials and communications that inspire action and excitement. Work across all aspects of event logistics, including budgeting, planning, promotion, and on-the-day delivery. Provide support and guidance to individual fundraisers and groups, helping them achieve their fundraising goals. Work closely with the marketing team to promote Brendoncare through public relations and social media to attract new supporters. About You You’ll be someone who brings energy, passion, and enthusiasm to the role. You’ll be a great communicator, able to engage with people from all walks of life and inspire them to support Brendoncare’s mission. You’ll have experience in event planning or community fundraising and will be excited by the opportunity to take on a wide variety of projects. Above all, we’re looking for someone who’s driven by a desire to support older people, to help us raise funds to provide essential community support services. Skills and Experience Proven experience in event management, fundraising, or community engagement. Passionate about working with and supporting older people. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
