About the Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated and customer focused Senior Library and Information Assistant to join our team.
Assisting with day to day library operations at Junction Library and locations across the borough, you’ll use your positive attitude and previous customer-facing experience to deliver excellent customer service to all library users.
Working closely with the Team Leader and specialist library support teams, you’ll be responsible for organising events, spreading the love of reading and ensuring our libraries are welcoming, user-friendly places to visit.

Monday 1.30-5.00 (3.30)
Tuesday 1.30-5.00 (3.30)
Wednesday No-working day
Thursday 1.30-5.00 (3.30)
Friday 1.30-5.00 (3.30)
Saturday 9.00-1.15 (4.15)
Total hours 18.15 hours per week
The successful applicant will have experience of working within a customer-facing environment. Experience of working with community groups and partners would be an advantage.
