Job Title: Electrical Supervisor Location: Ellesmere Port Job Type: Contract - 6 months Rate: £360.00 per day PAYE inc holiday pay - (£321.30 £38.70) Reports To: Project Manager / Site Manager Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical installation works on a new-build industrial project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical works are carried out safely, on time, and in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard. Manage a team of electricians and subcontractors, assigning tasks and monitoring progress. Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation. Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, health and safety procedures, and quality control standards. Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery. Maintain accurate records, including progress reports, material usage, and workforce allocation. Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment required for the electrical works. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise on-site. Attend site meetings and provide regular updates on project status. Ensure all electrical work is tested and commissioned in accordance with regulations and client requirements. Key Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification. ECS Gold Card (preferred). Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor on industrial projects. Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, containment, and power distribution. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements). Full UK driving licence
