CIS Security Ltd are looking for an experienced and highly skilled CCTV Operator who is entrusted with ensuring a safe, secure, and responsive environment. The role requires a proactive and vigilant approach to security, fostering a culture of integrity, professionalism, and attentiveness. The CCTV Controller is responsible to observe CCTV systems and raise any concerns without delay, control the shift operational requirements in line with the customer and contractual expectations and be able to communicate with police, fire & ambulance services. The CCTV Controller plays an integral role in ensuring that consistently high standards of security, safety and customer care are always delivered for this unique commercial skyscraper located in the financial district of the City of London; the 38-storey building is 687,000 sq. ft of high-quality office accommodation. Information: Position: CCTV Controller Location: City of London (EC3M) Pay Rate: £14.28 per hour Hours: Average 56 hours per week Shifts: Days & Nights - 7 on 3 off 7 on 4 off Job Requirements: SIA CCTV Licence & SIA Licence (DS or SG) required. Corporate CCTV controller/operator security experience required. Excellent PC skills and Microsoft knowledge required. Experience of working in a demanding, high-pressure environment Excellent understanding of access control & CCTV systems Customer focused, with a strong knowledge of customer service skills. To have a smart professional appearance and conduct befitting the company. Demonstrate a strong aptitude for multi-tasking, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative. Ability to think and act quickly in emergency incidents or under pressure, displaying sound judgement and composure under pressure. Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting informationrequested Job Responsibilities: Maintain a high level of vigilance through CCTV monitoring, ensuring all security protocols are upheld. Respond to incidents swiftly and in accordance with the assignment instructions, maintaining discretion and professionalism. Co-ordinate with on-site personnel, emergency services, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive security response. Maintain detailed and accurate logs, reports, and documentation to support operational effectiveness Arrange for the collation and viewing of CCTV images in response to incident management, in line with the CCTV Code of Practice Foster a professional and composed demeanour, always representing the companys values, performance and expectations. Demonstrate initiative in identifying and addressing security concerns whilst upholding all procedures without the need for micromanagement. Embrace a continuous improvement mindset, providing constructive feedback where necessary Support the team by maintaining the control rooms order, cleanliness, and operational readiness ensuring it is ready for operational use. To monitor, operate and report all security control room technologies (intruder alarms, access control systems, BMS, fire alarm system, lift intercoms, lift monitoring stations) Ensure compliance with Environmental Policy through responsible resource use and sustainable security practices. Uphold the integrity and confidentiality of all security systems, access controls, and data handling. Book on all members of the security team correctly at the start of each shift. Carry out training with Security Officers and ensure that there are suitable personnel on your shift able to step up and cover your role. Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.
