Under the supervision and direction of the consultants, the post holder will be responsible for: Management of a caseload of young people predominantly with a diagnosis of ADHD and receiving pharmacological treatment for this condition. Work will include liaison with GPs, Schools and Social Care. Work will be under the clinical supervision of the pathway Consultant Psychiatrists. Providing timely written correspondence to relevant professionals documenting assessments, ongoing management and progress using Trust IT and clinical records system training will be provided where needed. Work collaboratively with other teams and agencies to ensure smooth and timely transfer into and out of the This will include developing close working relationships with staff from other pathways within Buckinghamshire CAMHS, as well as linking with GPs, schools and Social Care. The Buckinghamshire CAMHS service leads its own governance agenda including audit, quality, patient experience, learning from incidents, patient safety initiatives and interrogation of data. The senior leadership team within the Neurodevelopmental Pathway will link with CAMHS management both in identifying areas of concern and feeding back actions, as well as area of excellence. Contribution to developing and delivering improved clinical services as outlined in the National Service Framework for Mental Health. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the collection of data as required by the Trust and other relevant agencies. This includes the timely recording of clinical activity data, and participation in clinical audit -with appropriate administrative support. The post holder will participate in the Buckinghamshire CAMHS medical day duty rota on a regular basis. The post holder will normally cross-cover with other medical staff for annual leave, study leave and brief periods of sickness absence.
