Base pay range
Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE, DOE
Welcome Bonus: £3000 (Welcome Bonus is payable as one payment of £1,500 after completion of one month and one further payment of £1,500 upon completion of your final probation period. T&C's apply)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required

About The Role
This is a really exciting time to join our client's growing clinical team supporting the school. This post provides the successful candidate with an opportunity to help develop the Speech and Language Therapy offer working alongside the Lead Clinician, Clinical Locality Lead and Head of Speech and Language Therapy.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience of putting in place preventative interventions at a systems level with a whole school approach at the forefront of their mind. The role will involve working collaboratively with education staff and other clinical disciplines to maximize impact for all students.
You will be responsible for holding a speech and language therapy caseload and, with the full support of our knowledgeable Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation. This position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a creative therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions, as well as manage their own workload.
Our Clinical Teams help maintain a person-centred, empowering approach always putting the people we support at the forefront of everything they do. All our settings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, and the people we support are heard, respected, and involved in decisions that affect them.
To be considered you must meet the following criteria:
* Allied Health Professional qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
* Registered with the HCPC and RCSLT
* Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams
* Experience of working with children, young people and adults who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern)
* Experience of working within school environments
* Valid UK full driving licence and access to own vehicle
* Experience of supervision of therapy assistants and SaLT apprenticeships is desirable
