The Role
We are looking for an incredibly talented Head of Creative to operate as a brand guardian and to lead our in-house creative team and run our content production studio.
In this role you’ll get to:
* Own and support the continuous evolution of our brand identity with our CMO.
* Manage the department effectively to deliver the best work to meet the requirements briefs, within the allocated time and budget.
* Oversee product design, including EPD; new material finishes, and new product design.
* Oversee the setup & management of our first in-house content production studio.
* Manage four direct reports: Creative Lead, Producer, Traffic Manager, and Copywriter. Lead, motivate, appraise, and develop team members, working to inspire your team.
* Be our brand guardian across all aspects of the brand, including tone of voice.
* Set overall departmental strategy aligned tocompany strategy, owning the creative strategy for our Good, Better, Best product portfolio.
* Play an important part of our extended leadership team, collaborating with peers to achieve overall company goals.
* Own the Creative & Content budget, annual departmental resources, and budget planning.
* Lead creative ideation for brand and hero marketing campaigns.
* Oversee pre-production for all creative assets, including model selection, photographer/videographer selection, styling, makeup, and wardrobe.
* Oversee still and video shoots to ensure brand compliance.
* Oversee post-production process and delivery of assets in alignment with departmental strategy.
What we are looking for in you:
* Strong creative portfolio across retail and brand including photography, graphic design, and videography.
* Proven creative ideation track record and 360 campaign execution.
* Proven experience in leading and developing an in-house creative team including; designers, copywriters, and producers/traffic managers.
* Ideally experience establishing, running, and maintaining an in-house studio.
* Strong leadership skills, ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, and planning contributing to long-term company strategy.
* Ability to set departmental strategy aligned with company strategy and translate this into tangible actions and goals for the Team.
* Exceptional people management skills and a desire to create a collaborative working environment.
* The confidence to push back on tight deadlines and negotiate timelines when necessary.
* Proven ability and experience in influencing and managing senior stakeholders at the Executive level.
* Experience owning the overall performance and results of the department, defining the team's roadmap bi-annually.
* Resilience to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing projects.
* A can-do attitude and an all-round positive team player.
