Caretaker
Rochford : covering the South Essex area
GBP 26,670 : GBP 28,074 per year

We have an opportunity for a Caretaker
to join our team, based in Rochford. This role will be lone working undertaking compliance checks across various blocks of flats within the South Essex area.
This job sits within Sanctuary Maintenance Contractors Limited (SMCL). SMCL is responsible for delivering a high quality and cost effective property repairs and refurbishments, estate services, gas servicing and installation and maintenance service across the UK to both internal and external clients.
The role of Caretaker
will include:
:
Provide an effective estate maintenance service by undertaking caretaking, cleaning, basic repair and grounds maintenance duties in accordance with local and legislative procedures to meet customer and organisational needs

Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed to meet organisational standards
:
Carry out compliance checks across various blocks of flats within the South Essex area
Skills and experiences:
:
Literacy and numeracy equivalent to Grade C English and Maths GCSE
:
Practical skill in carrying out minor repairs and decorating
:
Good interpersonal and customer care and communication skills
:
Good understanding of written and spoken English
:
Ability to understand simple verbal instructions
:
Ability to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
:
This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
