Our fast growing client are looking to recruit a Project Manager. The role while head-office is the North-west- the contract is based in Scotland - so you must be prepared to Travel. Reporting into the Managing Director, Operations Director & Commercial Director, the CC3 Project Manager will manage the structure, people & processes to successfully ensure that the implementation & delivery of the project, and the company strategy, are achieved. Provide input to project improvement initiatives, and support the existing processes by contributing to the targets being successfully achieved. Taking support from: - Commercial manager & planner, - Site Manager, Engineers, SHEQ staff & site supervisors at site, - Head office support for engineering, document control & administration, procurement, fabrication, compliance, HR, payroll, commercial & estimating. Responsible for full knowledge & understanding of scope, contract & tender allowances, ensuring that contract administration & process is adhered to by the project team. Responsible for the successful execution of project in line with the order/contract terms & conditions, the relevant specifications and design code and HSE rules, regulations and legislation. Delivering project to meet the company’s expectations regarding commercial performance by managing resource and providing opportunity for the project team to work productively, while at the same time managing all external costs to ensure budgets are met. Supporting the Site Manager with all industrial relation matters. Asses risk throughout the project lifecycle ensuring sufficient control measures are implemented to reduce risk to a manageable level, or ensuring that authorisation from the board is gained whenever necessary. Ensure that project teams adhere to company procedures at all times and provide report backs of project performance on a regular basis. Provide input to ensure accurately forecasts of project costs and sales are provided monthly. Our client is based in the North-West, which is where the head office is - but the PM role will require site based activities in Ayrshire - so the candidate must be prepared to travel weekly to site
