Dunbar Education is currently working with a fantastic SEND school in the Wolverhampton area. The school follows a varied sensory based curriculum personalised to suit the needs of the children with disabilities.
Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. The school has a culture of patience, inclusivity and helping children with disabilities to achieve their full potential.
If you have experience working with children who are diagnosed with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, Social Emotional Mental Health, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties, or Attention Deficit Disorder then this is the role for you.
The successful Level 3 SEND Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Experience working within SEND settings
- Level 3 Teaching or Childcare Qualification
- Experience supporting children in groups or 1:1
- Excellent classroom management
- A caring and nurturing personality
