Inventory / Supply Chain Analyst
Job Location: Poole, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm with a 4pm finish on Friday + free parking

We are recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain / Inventory Analyst to join a well-known decorative homeware company in Poole. This well-known business supplies not only the general public but major retail chains such as; Dunelm, Laura Ashley and John Lewis.
Working within a small team, you will be responsible for the accountability of stock levels and forecasting of stock levels and availability for all product launches, promotions and stock exits.
This is a data-driven position that requires someone who has an analytical mindset and excellent reporting skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Forecasting, scheduling and planning of stock levels
2. Monitoring lead times
3. Plan and schedule product availability
4. Analysing data and generating reports
5. Placing stock orders and planning movements
6. Monitoring supplier order books in order to maintain good stock levels to meet demand
7. Communicating with suppliers to plan product availability
Qualifications:
1. Previous supply chain / inventory experience
2. Excellent IT skills especially with MS Excel / Outlook
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Good administrative and data analysis skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
