We're looking for a Trainee HR Business Partner to join our dynamic People Services team a fantastic entry-level opportunity to step into the world of strategic HR business partnering. This is more than just an HR role; it's your launchpad into high-impact projects like TUPE, acquisitions, employee engagement, organisational change, and employment relations. You'll work closely with Senior HR Business Partners (SHRBPs) and People Managers, gaining hands-on experience while making a meaningful difference across the business.
Main duties of the job
* Be a trusted partner to People Managers, offering clear and confident advice on employee relations, policies, and change processes.
* Take ownership of your own employee relations caseload and contribute to tribunal preparation work.
* Support TUPE activities and acquisitions from data collation to consultations.
* Help deliver exciting organisational design and change initiatives.
* Analyse and report on people data to inform key HR decisions.
* Contribute to attrition management efforts, including leaver interviews and retention strategies.
* Assist in policy reviews, create bespoke HR letters, and support other strategic HR projects.

What Youll Need
* Part-qualified (or working towards) CIPD Level 5, with ~3 years of HR experience and a desire to complete Level 7.
* Solid grounding in employee relations and UK employment law.
* Confident working with middle management stakeholders across the business.
* A flexible, can-do attitude and a collaborative mindset.
* A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites.
Bonus Points If You Have Experience With:
* Jira or iTrent systems
* Excel reporting and analytics
* Policy writing and employment investigations
* Researching and applying contemporary HR practices
