This is an exciting leadership role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of essential systems on site, without the requirement for call-out duties.Key Responsibilities: * Lead the team in providing expert technical support and guidance for all electrical or mechanical systems on site. * Oversee and perform PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance for site systems. * Manage and prioritise workload effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time. * Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained, and all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations. * Coordinate with management and team members to support operational needs and ensure seamless functionality across the site. * Provide hands-on maintenance support where necessary.Key Requirements: * Electrical or Mechanical background with proven leadership experience. * Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent). * Strong technical knowledge and experience in maintaining critical site systems. * Excellent communication skills, both with the team and management. * Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintenance.Benefits: * Competitive salary of £42,500. * No on-call requirement. * Monday to Friday working hours – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. * Opportunity to lead a skilled team in a key operational site. * Career growth opportunities and ongoing training.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer ready to step into a leadership role and make a real impact on a critical site.
