We currently have a permanent part time catering vacancy at The Elgar Unit, Newtown Road, Worcester, Worcestershire, WR5 1LG. Working 15hrs per week. Monday to Friday 11.30-14.30. Working alongside dietetics and clinical teams, catering services ensure patients receive nutritionally balanced diets to support their recovery, in accordance with national standards and the Trusts Food and Drink Strategy. You will be part of a team who deliver a fully comprehensive quality catering service offering choice to patients, staff and visitors which meets legislative and mandatory requirements, in accordance with schedules and procedures. You must maintain a high standard for all food and beverage preparation including hot, cold and ambient items. The post will consist of varied duties to include taking patients meal orders face to face, serving patient meals, clearing away, washing up, cleaning of departments and equipment, food prep, receiving and monitoring deliveries, putting food items away, following all guidance on labelling and stock control. In return, you will receive full support, training and guidance to enable you to undertake all catering duties.
