We're looking for a Handyperson to join our Ministry of Justice team based on sites across East London and Essex.
Location: Multi Site across East London and Essex
Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Handyperson, you'll be working within the hard services team, supporting them in maintenance across a number of sites. This Handyperson role will carry out general, small repairs working on our FM contract we hold with the Ministry of Justice. This is a mobile role that covers Authorised Premises for the Ministry of Justice across the London portfolio.
Your day to day will include:
* Carrying out maintenance such as fixing loose carpeting, hanging and re-fixing items to walls, patching paintwork and minor drain blockages, toilet seat re-fixing and replacements, re-fixing door handles, loose hinges/items, replace slats in blinds, shower fixings and rails
* Small scale movement of furniture and boxes will also be a requirement
* Report any defect or breakdown to the helpdesk and record the instance in the site log book and proactively review outstanding work and update as necessary
* To carry out reactive calls & daily inspections of the site as directed, action any issues arising regarding maintenance defects generated from the helpdesk.

* You have a full, clean driving license
* You hold the relevant industry qualifications
* You are the holder of a CSCS card
