Role: Support Worker Here at Cartrefi Cymru we support adults with learning disabilities and vulnerable adults in the community to live a fulfilled and enriched life. Salary: £12.74 per hour What you’ll be doing: In this role you’ll support 2 males to maintain their independence at home and in the community at our 24 hour assisted care service we have here in Caernarfon. Our goal is to empower individuals to live their best life, providing support tailored to their unique needs and preferences. You’ll play a vital role in assisting individuals with their daily tasks and activities, both at home and in the community. You'll encourage and enable the people we support to make choices, build confidence, and develop their skills, ensuring they feel empowered and independent. You’ll help us to meet their responsibilities such as looking after their homes and maintaining strong connections with friends and family. As a Cooperative you’’ enable the people you’ll be supporting to be involved with Cartrefi Cymru related activities in the community. Who we're looking for: No experience is required as full is training provided. We’d love to hear from you if you: have patience and empathy can support a person with their intimate personal care with respect and dignity have strong communication and teamwork skills are able to speak on behalf of others as well as to a range of professional people have good written skills and the ability to record events with empathy and meaning.
