All candidates must posses the baseline qualification for Food Law regulation and have recent experience doing food business inspection - EHRB registration (HCC) A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and national policy. (HCC) A detailed specialist knowledge of the legislation relating to the activities of the Environmental Regulation Section and a knowledge and understanding of the legislation applicable to Health & Safety, Food Safety, Infectious Disease Control and Housing, including Regulations, Statutory Instruments, Technical Guidance, Codes of Practice, Industry Guides, Government Circulars, British Standards.
