Join our team Anglian Water are currently in the process of upgrading our aging SAP ERP system to the latest SAP ERP suite, S/4HANA. At the centre of this change is a major business transformation programme, leveraging capabilities in SAP to enhance how our business operates. This programme will be a significant undertaking, covering a significant scope across most of the business, spanning across AMP7 and into AMP8.The purpose of the role is to support the SAP Programme Director through the coordination and delivery of a large scale, complex programme of work to deliver multi-dimensional and cross-functional change related to the SAP transition activity required for AMP7/AMP8. The SAP Programme Delivery Manager is responsible for managing the delivery and supporting the SAP Programme Director to ensure that desired programme outcomes and objectives are achieved. This person must have adequate knowledge and information about the business and the programme to be able to help inform decisions. They must possess very strong leadership skills, exceptional relationship building skills and be flexible to work in changing environments. The key deliverables of the programme are: Management of external consultancy Multiple projects running in parallel across a wide scope of business streams Benefits tracking, reporting on milestones at a project level Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders to communicate progress, chase actions and receive updates. Understand risks and confidence of delivery to timescales. Liaison with third party suppliers Management and development of a team of direct reports The role requires Productivity, Strategic and Change Management Methodology expertise as well as experience working at a senior management level to ensure that the programme is given the necessary level of focus and support and is able to deliver its wide range of outcomes. What will you be doing? Lead and manage the delivery of the SAP S/4HANA programme working closely with the Programme Director Oversee and own the delivery plan for the SAP S/4HANA programme, being a key escalation point to resolve blockers and help maintain delivery focus and timelines Lead and motivate the programme team, ensuring that the right resource is in place at the right times. Coordinate project activities amongst functional, technical, business and third party vendors Closely manage the scope of the programme helping to managing change requirements in relation to programme objectives and time Carry out stakeholder analysis to determine requirements Maintain stakeholder plan and modify to reflect programme stages Identify relevant stakeholders at each stage of the programme & deliver relevant project, programme & company level communication Programme Office Management and Governance What does it take to be a SAP Programme Delivery Manager? Significant experience in transformation project delivery role preferably within highly regulated environment with experience of delivering SAP S/4HANA solutions (preferably an S/4 migration from ECC). Extensive experience of working on SAP implementation programmes, with a strong background in SAP S/4HANA Proven expertise in delivering complex solutions and managing multi-market delivery teams and suppliers - can demonstrate delivery of programmes and projects to quality, time and cost. Highly experienced leader with a proven experience to motivate, develop and inspire a diverse team to deliver. Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA functionality, knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO) and integration with other systems Strong understanding and experience of major ERP related business processes, data, IT, infrastructure, applications, architecture and integration Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g.Agile) and delivery tools (e.g ADO, Monday, JIRA).
