About the role: This is a newly created role to work within a Practice to provide support across the whole project portfolio including desk-based research, business development and project delivery. The role will work closely with Practice BDOs, POs and a Practice Administrator to provide flexible support primarily across project work (for around 160 days) with the remainder of the time focused on business development (both pre-positioning and bids). The ability to undertake discrete tasks across multiple bids and projects is essential with a wide variety of tasks and deliverables so managing your time pro-actively is essential. You will be supporting bids and projects across all aspects of our global client base including FCDO, UN Agencies and Foundations. This will include: Project Delivery : · Document reviews and coding of interview notes and other data. · Proof reading and formatting. · Supporting document management and filing. · Supporting data collection (e.g. logistics support / note taking during KII’s / administering online surveys). · Supporting data analysis (e.g. coding qual data / analysis of data in Excel). · Support drafting deliverables (e.g. drafting specific sections / support preparing graphics / support preparing PPT decks). · Support to Project Managers with discreet technical tasks. Business Development · Desk research for potential clients and opportunities/ broader market intelligence · Searching for potential team members using various online tools · Compiling tailored project references and capability statements · Conducting background research and drafting discreet sections for bids / proposals. · Editing existing material for inclusion in bids · Proof reading and formatting of final documents (including CVs), ensuring they are presented in accordance with client stipulations and to provide extra capacity when needed You will ideally have some understanding of Business Development and/or the Project Management lifecycle, although this isn’t essential.
