A supportive Specialist School in Slough is seeking a dedicated Autism Support Assistant to join their team immediately. The school provides tailored support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated needs, such as social communication challenges and sensory processing difficulties. They are looking for proactive, patient individuals, ideally with backgrounds in subjects such as Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling, who are committed to making a positive difference in young people's lives.

Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with Autism
Promoting positive communication and social interaction skills
Supporting the implementation of sensory and behaviour management strategies
Helping students overcome barriers to learning and build self-confidence
Collaborating with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored interventionsThis role is ideal for those considering careers in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, SEN Teaching, or Social Work. Role Details:
Position: Autism Support Assistant
Location: Slough
Pay: £83 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, training, and qualifications)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
Contract: Long-term temporary with potential for permanent placement
