As Partnership Development Manager, you will be required to account manage with market engagement and carry out business development, actively broadening our perishable sector partnerships with parties up and down the supply chain. Ensuring the quality standards are world-class in food security/safety, quality, at the same time ensuring we are market champions in sustainability, operations and H&S. This will involve working with our service and operation teams to deliver a range of exciting and challenging commercial projects in one of Europe's busiest ports.
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be crucial in ensuring effective collaboration with our customers across a national and international network, striving to deliver port-centric solutions that boost engagement and loyalty while securing a competitive advantage.
With a strong background in developing and growing international partnerships, you will manage all existing perishable customer partnerships and commercial activities, ensuring we deliver a market-leading offering, based on quality and customer service.
Skills and Qualifications
* Highly competent Commercial partnership and relationship management expert
* Ability to establish relationships across the industry in particular with shipping lines, supermarkets, importers, agents, supply chain & growers
* Strong demonstratable background within business development
* Hold a Project Management qualification, ideally Prince 2 or MS Project
* Excellent understanding of the freight and logistics industries
* Experience of developing detailed commercial proposals from scratch (including financial modelling). You would be response for managing the customer enquiry from concept to implementation and account manage
* Marketing expertise, develop marketing material, presentations and representing the company within the sector
* Will be required to undertake International, European and UK travel
* Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
