What's the mission?
Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault-finding and maintenance of all site equipment and machinery. You will work on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems. You'll need to be electrically biased and able to commute to our Keele site daily.
You will be working a Continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern, (06:30 am – 6:30 pm and 6:30 pm – 06:30 am).

What are the mission-critical skills?
* Excellent electrical engineering skills with mechanical experience is essential.
* Apprentice trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in an Engineering discipline preferred.
* JIB 18th edition qualified.
* Execute PPM and provide input into systems & process improvements.
* PLC fault finding and diagnostic skills (programming experience would be an advantage).
* Support/provide input into feasibility studies, CAPEX & CI projects.
* Be a team player with an attention to detail.
* Good understanding of current environmental, health and safety regulations & requirements.
* Ability to interrogate/understand maintenance problems to provide accurate plant condition information/recommendations.
* Computer literate with excellent communication skills.
