We are working with a manufacturing business in Telford who are looking to appoint a Credit Controller on a permanent basis. The role will be joining a small accounts team during an exciting period of growth. As the Credit Controller you will take charge of the entire debt collection process.
As Credit Controller, duties will include:
* Assessing the credit risks of new and existing customers.
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure credit control issues are resolved.
* Produce credit reports and assess the credit risk to the company.
* Monthly cash collection forecasting and monthly debt reporting.
* Processing debit and credit card payments.
* Dealing with queries.
* To maintain accurate records of the collection process.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience of working as a Credit Controller or in a similar role is essential. Experience in managing accounts with building merchants, buying societies or contractors would be ideal. The successful candidate will need to be a team player and willing to roll their sleeves up to get involved in other tasks outside of their key responsibilities.
