Job Summary
In this role you will manage a range of projects designed to deliver on our Port Wide Energy Strategy. These projects will be designed to protect our existing operations and utilities network, and also seek to modernise and improve capacity through bringing in new HV capacity to the port. The projects will be delivered in a live operational Port environment and will require a collaborative approach to be adopted between multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the Port estate.
Skills and Qualifications
• Ideally hold a in an appropriate related technical discipline or qualification/demonstrable experience
• Project Management qualification from APM or alternative relevancy professional organisation or demonstrable project management experience and a willingness to progress towards APM
• Proven experience (minimum of 3 years) of managing and delivering utility infrastructure projects from inception through to feasibility, design and implementation to project completion utilising the NEC 3 suite of contracts
• Have a proven track record in:
- Working collaboratively with Contractors, Consultants and other stakeholders
-Fulfilling the role of Project Manager as defined under the NEC suite of contracts
-Managing a portfolio of construction projects
- Producing work/product breakdown structures and maintaining project programmes
-Ability to review and understand CAD drawings and technical specifications
• Demonstrable understanding of CDM regulations and relevant Health & Safety Legislation
• Good user skills in MS Office 365 and MS Project
• Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
