Operations manager salary will be DOE. Duties for the Operations Manager include:- • Safety, quality management and responsible for the delivery within the Production Departments.• Manage the Production Team to deliver its outputs.• Manages compliance of all supervised areas.• Input to preparation of budgets and forecasting.• Capex reporting.• Works to maximise production capacity by establishing, adjusting and monitoring production schedules consistent with master schedules.• Responsible for scheduling the production of new manufactured and after-market products for delivery to customers.• Thorough understanding of product line(s)/service(s) in the operational area.• Thorough understanding of customer requirements and market conditions.• Knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting and staffing.• Introduction and maintenance of operational systems to achieve process improvements. The operations manager will also need (in addition to the management and manufacturing experience:- • Technical leadership and motivational skills.• Sound manufacturing knowledge.• Attention to detail and effective checking regime.• Good verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to work in a team environment and problem solve.• Flexibility, adaptability and professionalism, with the ability to work cooperatively as part of a multi discipline team, or on individual projects.
