We are looking for a compassionate and responsible Family Contact Supervisor to facilitate and supervise contact sessions between children and their families in the London area. This role is crucial in helping to maintain positive and safe relationships between children and their families in a controlled environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise contact sessions between children and their families, ensuring a safe and neutral environment Ensure that the emotional and physical well-being of the children is prioritised during contact Prepare and provide detailed, accurate reports on the contact sessions Work closely with social workers, families, and other professionals to ensure safeguarding protocols are followed Manage challenging behaviours and diffuse difficult situations professionally and calmly Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or working with Children and Families Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection principles Excellent observational, communication, and report-writing skills Ability to remain impartial, empathetic, and calm under pressure NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable Enhanced DBS check for children and adults is required Ability to provide 3 years of references Please note: We do not offer sponsorships and cannot accept applications from candidates requiring Skilled Worker Visas.
