Critical Care Nurse Educator (ED)
The Clinical Learning and Development Team at MBPH is committed to nurturing and supporting the professional development of the nursing, midwifery, and allied health teams at Mildura Base Hospital. About the role:
This is an ongoing, part-time position (32 hours per fortnight, 0.4FTE). The Nurse Educator Critical Care (ED) is a clinical leadership position, responsible for coordinating and facilitating education opportunities to advance the professional development of the nursing team. This hands-on position supports learners along the continuum and in all areas of the Emergency Department.
A member of the Clinical Learning and Development team, the Nurse Educator Critical Care (ED) is integral to workforce development at Mildura Base Public Hospital, and you will also have the opportunity to contribute to, and be involved in, organization-wide educational programs.
About You:
Passionate about educating and supporting the nursing workforce, you will have innovative thinking, be solution-oriented, and self-motivated. A demonstrated ability to work within our organizational values of Happy, Empathetic, Accountable, Respect, and Team-based (HEART) is essential.
What You Need:
1. Current AHPRA registration
2. Post Graduate Qualification in relevant specialty
3. Demonstrated experience in Critical Care Nursing
4. A personal approach that is positive, enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful
