We are looking for a part-time (25 hours) Care Navigator/Receptionist to join our friendly, patient-focused team.
This position is a permanent one and working hours will be over 5 weekdays, shift patterns to be confirmed.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be:
* Organised, efficient and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and effective communication within our multi-professional Primary Care Team.
* Capable of prioritising your own workload, confident and adaptable to both change and challenging situations in a busy environment.
* Demonstrating co-operative and productive working with people of all backgrounds; a second language would be desirable for this role.
* Computer literate, experienced in the use of electronic communications and confident during face-to-face interactions with patients.
* Able to show attention to detail even under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and delivering accurate and clear information to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Relevant training and professional development will be provided for the successful applicant.

Person Specification
Experience
* Communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Competent use of IT.
* Ability to deal confidently and courteously with people both in person and over the telephone.
* Ability to work flexibly as a team member.
* Able to work on own initiative and prioritise workload.
* Empathetic, honest & caring.
* Able to work under pressure.
* Competent in the use of Systmone.
Qualifications
* Experience of working in a patient-focused environment.
* An understanding, acceptance, and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality.
* GCSE English language, grade C or above (or equivalent).
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* NVQ 2/3 Customer Service (or equivalent).
